Now it's not up to me to provide the most up-to-the-minute news here, I'll leave that to Coco's Tea Party and Disney Roller Girl thank you very much. However when I first set eyes upon the latest J.W Anderson collection for Topshop, I had to resist the urge to post something right that second at work and risk a telling off. I've mused about such collaborations before
and how they can be hit-and-miss, sometimes too small a selection to
find something that suits your style and demeanour. This tends to
happen with Topshop collaborations and using Mary Katrantzou as an
example, although I liked elements of the collection, none of it seemed
totally and utterly 'me.' None of that here, there is enough selection
and repetition of certain elements (printed t-shirts, a-line skirts,
intarsia motif jumpers) to find something which floats your boat and
will become that extra element your AW12 wardrobe needs (Susie was right with her prediction). I've been an admirer of J.W Anderson's
collections for a while now, but was never sure if I could carry off
(or afford) one of his looks. Finally I feel a foray into head-to-toe
print might happen for me!
